An enigmatic silhouette marks the entry to downtown New Westminster. The imagery seems familiar – but reinterpreted, altered, perhaps a little anthropomorphic. The artwork plays with a found image, the silhouette of a WW2 Victory ship - a reference to the local history – abstracted by mirrored repetition, a reference to the Rorschach test, the iconic test revealing the presence of the unconscious, each of us selecting and interpreting what we see.
